Su-do Tropical Airbrush Lotions:

Su-do Tropical lotions contain the active ingredient DHA that is found in the majority of tanning products. DHA or Dihydroxy Acetone is a chemical that reacts with amino acids in the uppermost layer of the skin and causes them to turn brown. DHA has been used safely in cosmetics for over 30 years.

Su-do Tropical Airbrush lotion is available in three forms: clear and bronze: both lotions ultimately achieve exactly the same results.

Clear lotion requires an hour or so to begin colouring the skin and over 5 hours to develop.

Bronze lotion contains a colouring agent for customers who want an instant tan effect. Again, the full tan effect will develop over 5 hours.

Su-do have recently introduced a ‘Dark Tan’ lotion to their range. This lotion is excellent for deepening and prolonging an existing base tan, but should not be used on pale skin.

Sunless Tanning explained

Following exfoliation, an airbrush or spray gun is used to spray an exact combination of air and tanning lotion directly onto the skin. A short treatment will achieve a flawless tan that develops over a period of 5 hours.

One initial tan will normally last 5 to 10 days, depending on skin type and care. Top up sessions are offered to clients as and when they are needed.

Su-do Tropical lotion contains no sunscreens, but can be used in conjunction with normal sunbathing provided sun protection cream is used at all times.

One Su-do Tropical treatment will give an excellent base colour prior to sun bathing. Normal sunbathing can then be undertaken at a slower, safer pace. The result is a deeper, longer lasting, healthier suntan.

Su-do Essence

Su-do Tropical Tanning lotion contains a unique "essence" - an ingredient that helps counteract the smell often associated with sunless tanning creams and lotions. It has been well documented that customers and beauty editors alike find the Su-do Sunless tan a pleasurable, sensory experience.
