Sixtus' recipe for success

For 65 years the Sixtus company has been developing effective products for pedicures and personal hygiene. The family-owned enterprise in upper Bavaria has now effectively combined alpine herbals and unadulterated essential oils. Economic success in line with nature –the Sixtus company’s products combining fresh extracts of alpine herbs and unadulterated essential oils has been a major success story for decades.

Natural effective products

Besides vegetable oils and fats, the Sixtus company uses unadulterated essential oils and extracts from alpine hay flowers for its compounds. “Even in the Middle Ages monastic pharmacists and apothecaries detected and used the healing and caring powers of alpine herbs“, states Mr. Fritz Becker, one of the three managing directors of the Sixtus company. The successful family-owned enterprise combines alpine herbs with unadulterated essential oils and as a result its products achieve an optimal therapeutic effect. All raw materials for the pedicure and personal hygiene products are tested for purity in the company’s own laboratory. The Sixtus production plant in Hausham, Germany, conforms to current cosmetics and GMP regulations.

“The adoption of environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes and use of natural raw materials has allowed us to build up an unmistakable image as a specialist supplier of highly effective care products,” said Mr. Becker.

In view of increasing environmental sensibility, Sixtus uses exclusively renewable raw materials from untreated meadows. The flora may re-grow and the ecological balance therefore remains unspoilt!
